PVL is known for making quality flywheels. This flywheel is dynamically balanced and has been tested by PVL at 17,000RPM and an independent company in the USA at 15,000RPM. The steel center hub adds durability to keep from damaging the taper. The center hub also has tapped holes for the use of a flywheel puller. This flywheel can be used with the standard coil and a gap of .038-.040" should be set.

The fin design allows this flywheel to move a very high volume or air. It is recommended that you leave only 1 of the blower housing recoil air intakes open. If more cooling is desired then the tape can be removed. The engine will perform best when you have the right amount of cooling to keep the engine from reaching an excessive temperature.

The newly designed intake and exhaust lobes allow the CL-2 to run at higher RPMs before the engine goes into uncontrolled valve float. This is a great cam for any stock clone class.
The DynoCams CL-2 is legal for the current profile rules for stock classes.

Our "Big Block" shortblocks are available in either Honda GX390 or Clone 420cc versions.  These shortblock engines are custom built by Parsons Racing Supply and ship at a low flat rate of $9.95!  

The shortblock includes the following components also with options listed below that you choose:
  • You choose either Honda GX390 OEM or Clone 420cc displacement listed below
  • Crankshaft is fully machined and blueprinted
  • Billet Connecting Rod (You can choose standard length or +.200" longer than stock listed below)
  • Forged Piston (You have the choice of which piston design you prefer listed below, Flat Top or Dome)
  • Lightweight low drag ring pack
  • Tool steel wrist pin
  • ARP Rod Bolts and hardened rod bolt washers for maximum clamp load
  • Babbit rod bearings
  • Torque plate honed cylinder
  • Parsons Racing billet crankcase cover with billet oil fill cap

Parsons Performance Products clone engine kits are for the budget minded racer that is wanting to "Build Your Own HP".  Our clone engine parts kit allows you to pick your components that will meet your track rules.
Our engine kit comes standard with the following parts:
Box Stock Project clone engine, BSP2 Camshaft, box stock carburetor, air filter, air filter adapter, top plate, fuel pump, 6 ft. fuel line, Walbro fuel filter, choke hold, chain guard, valve cover w/pulse fitting, 10.8 lb. valve springs, Autolite racing spark plug, fuel line reducer fitting, throttle return spring, throttle rod, throttle connector, max stroke hardened crankshaft and side cover gasket.

New from Parsons Performance Products is our Big Block clone rotating assembly kit.  
Crankshaft - Our kit includes a new fully balanced 66mm stroke crankshaft, crank pto is shortened 1 1/4" for karting or minicup racing applications, crank is clearanced for the camshaft (kit will work with as much cam lift as our .397" cam lift) so no cam clearancing is necessary, governor gear is also removed.  The crankshaft has Honda GX390 main and rod journal sizes.  Will be a drop in kit for the 420cc or 440cc engines.    
Connecting Rod - Our kit comes with our billet connecting rod that is machined from 7075 T-6 billet aluminum.  Comes with ARP rod bolts and babbit bearings.  Just select the rod length combination below that you would like your rotating assembly balanced to.
Piston & Rings - Our rotating assembly also comes with our forged piston, low drag ring set, piston pin and circlips.  Just select below if you would like our flat top or domed forged piston.

Our Pro-Velocity stock appearing carburetor is the latest design in small block clone carburetion.  Our carburetor venturi and throttle bore is CNC machined to exact tolerances and consistency.  Our throttle plate is not a stock throttle plate either, as it too is a completely different throttle plate CNC machined to fit our big throttle bore.
Our carburetor comes in either gasoline or methanol (alky) fuel setup.  You can also choose if you want the choke plate in the carburetor or left out.

This is our custom designed "Champ" kart racing header that fits Honda GX200 Clone engines.  This header was designed to clear the frame roll cage on Champ karts.  The inside diameter of this pipe is .930" and is a 3 stage pipe.
